Overview

Career Simulation Lab gives young people practical experience of what it is like to work within a company. Students join a fictional organisation, take on different professional roles and complete scenario-based projects based on real workplace situations.

Each week, they attend a virtual company meeting, receive a task or business challenge and work individually or in teams to develop a solution. The programme would help them understand workplace expectations while building communication, confidence, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Students will learn:

• How to write and respond to emails

• How to manage tasks and deadlines

• Teamwork and collaboration

• Basic project management

• Customer service skills

• CV, interview and career-readiness skills
